Disneyland Paris annual pass

Purchasing an annual pass (passeport annuel) is often not the first thought when visiting Disneyland Paris. After all, most visitors only go for a few days and not several times a year. However, an annual pass to Disneyland Paris can also provide great benefits for one-off short visits. There are many benefits such as discounts and free parking. Although the cards seem expensive at first, this is relatively not the case. Individual tickets that are valid at both parks cost €84* for an adult and €77 for children up to and including 11 years old. By using it wisely, an annual pass can be recouped within two days.
There are three different annual passes for sale at Disneyland. These are the Classic, the Fantasy and the Dream. The big difference in these cards is the number of days the park can be visited. There is also variation in the discount percentage that applies in different shops and restaurants.

Classic Passport

135,-

The Classic Passport is the cheapest of the three annual passes. This is mainly because several block days apply. The annual pass is not valid on these days. These are often days during holidays and high season. So check carefully in advance whether the card is valid during your stay. If this is the case and you no longer plan to visit the park on block days later in the year, Classic is a very price-friendly solution.
Advantages of the Classic Passport:

  • Access: 280 days a year
  • Restaurants: 10% discount
  • Boutiques: 10% discount
  • Disney Hotels: 25% discount
  • Group discount: 20% if more than 5 tickets are purchased
  • Parking: 2 times free worth 30 euros

The Disneyland Paris website provides an overview of all block days of the Classic annual pass.

Fantasy Passport

179,-

A Fantasy annual pass is valid for considerably more days per year than the Classic annual pass. This is also what you pay extra for, because apart from parking, the card provides almost the same benefits as the much cheaper Classic. However, if there are a few days blocked on the Classic where the Fantasy card can be used, then it is of course smart to take a Fantasy.
Benefits of a Fantasy Passport:

  • Access: 320 days a year
  • Restaurants: 10% discount
  • Boutiques: 10% discount
  • Disney Hotels: 25% discount
  • Group discount: 20% if more than 5 tickets are purchased
  • Parking: always free
  • Single tickets: 10% discount on tickets for traveling companions
  • Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show: 10% discount

The block days of the Fantasy annual pass can also be found on the Disneyland Paris website.

Dream Passport

223,-

The Dream annual pass is the ultimate Disney annual pass. This card again costs a lot more than the other two cards, but offers many advantages in addition to access 365 days a year. For example, the Dream offers a 20% discount on all purchases in all shops in and outside the park (Disney Village). This can quickly add up. The pass is also very suitable if you are traveling with a large group. All extra day tickets have a 20% discount. In addition, there is a 35% discount on a booking in one of the Disney hotels. It may therefore be wise to purchase the annual pass in advance via the internet and the hotel without entrance tickets separately.
Benefits of a Dream Passport:

  • Access: 365 days a year
  • Restaurants: 10% discount
  • Boutiques: 20% discount
  • Disney Hotels: 35% discount
  • Group discount: 20% if more than 5 tickets are purchased
  • Parking: always free
  • Single tickets: 20% discount on tickets for traveling companions
  • Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show: 20% discount

Where can the annual tickets be purchased?

In the park

Annual passes can be purchased in the Disney park. More information about this can be obtained from the Donald Desk. This is located on the right next to the park entrance gates. Bring identification. The photo for the pass is taken on the spot.

by phone

There are several websites that offer annual passes online. However, the best way is to order these via Disneyland Paris itself. This can be done via the Dutch telephone number 0900 34 76 39 65 . Ordering in advance can be good if a Disney hotel is booked. In that case, a discount of 35% applies to the costs of this booking.

Annual pass for disabled visitor

The annual pass offers additional benefits for visitors with a physical or mental disability. The annual pass can be purchased with a 10% discount. If the Dream annual pass is purchased, an accompanying person can enter the park daily for free. A day ticket for this supervisor must be obtained every day from Guest Relations. (tip: Guest Relations in the Sudios park is considerably quieter, tickets are for both parks).
It is also possible to have a special logo placed on the annual card. This shows that the annual card holder has a disability. The holder may use the facilities offered by the park, such as entering an attraction via the exit (selected attractions) with a certain number of supervisors. It is no longer necessary to arrange a separate card for this at City Hall. It is also possible to park in the special disabled parking spaces next to the Disney Hotel. These are directly next to the entrance to the park (also possible with a European disabled parking card).
To take advantage of these benefits, a medical certificate must be presented when applying for an annual card.

Finally

The tickets are not cheap. However, in 2016 a day ticket for both parks costs €84 for adults and €77 for children up to and including 11 years old. This means that you can get the price within two days with entrance tickets alone (Classic annual ticket). Add to that the costs you save on food, merchandise and parking, among other things, and you will see that purchasing an annual pass can save a lot of money. Booking a hotel separately also provides a 35% discount with a Dream Passport! Travel companions can also enter the park at a discount (only with Fantasy and Dream). In any case, a visit to Disneyland Paris remains an expensive affair, but it is therefore wise not to immediately accept the first offer that comes along. Comparing offers and annual passes takes a lot of time, but can save a lot of money. Of course, this all falls under the heading of anticipation.
