Germany – Zoo parks and attractions

Did you know that there are bird of prey shows in Germany where the birds come and sit on your hand? And that you can take a boat trip through the Wadden Sea to see seals roaming around in the wild? Seal banks of Wilhelmshaven

With the motor ship Harle-Sand you sail from Wilhelmshaven to the Lower Saxony Wadden Sea where you can see seals roaming around in the wild. In the fairytale park of Sayn Castle you can learn everything about butterflies. They fly between the tropical banana leaves and palms and go from flower to flower in search of nectar. There is even a butterfly that is up to 25 centimeters in size. In the caterpillar house you will learn how butterfly eggs transform into caterpillars and pupae. And in the insect house you will meet tarantulas and other spooky phenomena.
